Dear One and All,

Hello everyone, well let me first off start by saying sorry about the letter last week, it was a hectic day and we had many suprises that we were not planning on happening.

Well this week hasnt really been full of exciting prosoliteing stories or anything like that but i have learned a few very good lessons this week that i felt impressed to share....

When i had this infected bite on my knee it affected a lot of the daily activites that i did. I went to the doctor last week and they took and ultra sound and told me that i had torn my left lateral muscule in my leg and would not walk for 6 weeks.... Last monday i received a letter from dad and at the end it mentioned breifly... ¨stay humble, stay on your knees¨ it was really comical when i first read that knowing that i could not kneel and that doing so caused me a great deal of pain... later that night while writing in my jornal that thought struck me again. ¨Stay Humble, stay on your knees¨ i decieded in that moment that i would do as instructed and kneel down and offer up a sincere prayer to my father in heaven. Doing so caused me great pain and it was very uncomfortable and i was very distracted so praying suddenly became much more difficult....

in my room all by myself while my companion was in the shower i knelt in pain and began a humble prayer.... while i was praying i received what can only be a prompting from the Holy Ghost or the voice of my father in heaven.... and he told me, ïf you will kneel in humbility each and everytime you pray, i will heal you...¨ this voice literally was audible in my ears and i could hear it speak to me. I took the time to listen and told the lord out loud, i would do so, putting my faith in my lord and savior that as i was obidient to the promptings of the spirit i would be blessed....

From that moment forth no matter where i was, whether in dirt or tile or wood or grass.... i would do as i had prmoised and i would continue to kneel to pray... it caused me some troubles at times and the President was not happy about the decision that i was making, but he had not been there to understand that simple prayer that i had offered and the simple few words that my father in heaven had spoken to me....

I am happy to tell you all that this day i know that the power of prayer i more real than anything i know, whether it be for something as simple as a knee injury to a loss of a loved one. There will never be a time in which you are in better communication with our maker than when we are on our knees in humble humble prayer..... TOMORROW I WILL HAVE COMPLETED A MIRACLE RECOVERY AND RE-ENTERING THE MISSION FEILD IN 1 WEEK! The infection is totally gone and i have miraculously healed from my torn muscule and even though it is still sore i am fully able to walk and knock doors.... the lord protects his servants!!!!

One of the things that struck me most about this learning experience is the way in which we pray..... when we say ïn the name of jesus christ amen¨ it is signifying that we are asking these things of our father in heaven through our mediator jesus christ! we are saying it as thought it would be our savior saying these things.... we are saying that by closing in this manner we are telling our heavenly father that this is the will of the son! so each and every single one of our prayers must then be really the will of what christ would want for us.... I know that my father in heaven listened to my prayer and protected me when i needed him and told him that i would be obedient to his will and not my own...

Anther cool thing that happened this week was that i had a self revelation about who i wanted to be after the mission or in this life in general and i started a list called ....`who do i want to be?` and it outlines things that i want to accomplish and aspects of my life that i want and am going to work and strive twoards....

here are a few things on my list that are fun....

Here in the mission i deceided that i wanted to not only learn spanish but i am going to learn portugese and french too! because they are so simallar that they can be read and closley spoken the same.... i am reading the book of mormon in portugese and when i am done i will read it in french....i just finished again in spanish, side not...

I always regreted not learning how to play the piano because it is just a beautiful skill to have and it is SOOOO amazing when someone is really good at the piano so here in the mission i am also learning to play the piano and have now learned 5 hymn! hahahah i am going to take piano lessons after the mission or a piano class because it is never too late to find a new skill to love!

Another thing that i would like to learn is to sing really well.... my comp is a voice teacher and is teaching me how to sing in falseto which is really really high! but im getting a hang of it and needless to say we are singing everywhere we go and in everything we do so when we are just here in the office we just sing while we work and its really really cool! haha i love it.....

well there are a lot of things on this list and its not really a bucket list its more a list of things that are going to help shape who i am in this life and help me to always have goals to push myself to always be my best and do my best!!!! i am going to be so self motivated that i will through out the course of my life work at anything until i have accomplished it!

well im on all day today so if you get this and feel like writing back i will be happy to respond.

i love you all so much and miss you all!

love from over seas here in Peru!

Les amo con todo de mi corazón, espero que todo esta bien con ustedes y en esta semana dios les bendigo.
