Dear Everyone,
well this week has been another great week here in peru! it is weird to think how long all of my friends an i have been out! TAYLOR HOLTBY is passing his year mark! how sad!!!! haha well for him...
this week we had another great baptism and we are working really hard to be obedient and to baptise every week so that we can make the most of our time here in the mission we realize how short our time is!!! I know that the lord prepares people for us to teach and who were ment to be converted bu us! Hermana Jennifer has been coming to church for 3 weeks and this last week was the first time i had met her. i introduced myself and the first thing she told me was that she had spoken to her mother and would like to be baptised!!!! wow what a blessing! haha
within the next 5 days we taught every single lesson and she understood everything with ease! a golden investigator! haha the lord had prepared her for us! on saturday we preformed her service and i was fortunate enough to preform the baptism! also she asked me to preform the confirmation on sunday! wow! i felt quite honored!
well i have been studying a lot about the second coming and that is mainly what i wanted to write about today!!!!
i decieded that other day to read all of D and C through and it is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! i love it so much, being the first real time that i have read it all the way through it is amazing!!!!!
i wanted to leave you all with a few things to study because i have been studying these scriptures and learned something very interesting!!!!
Matthew 24:36
D&C 84:1-4
D&C29:26
D&C 57:1-3
moises 7:62
study guide for the scriptures..
new jerusalem
missuri
ALL I AM GOING TO SAY IS I AM MOVING TO MISSURI! haha
It is interesting to me that the same micheal or adam that caused us to fall will be the one to sounds the trumpet for our ressureccion!!!!!
really study these in accordance to the second coming! No one knows when exactly will be the second coming but we know where!!!!!!!!!! no way!!!! i am going to wait outside the Missuri temple for when he will come! haha
well i dont have much time but i hope you all enjoy the photos and until the next time!
i love you!

Dear One and All,
Hello everyone, well let me first off start by saying sorry about the letter last week, it was a hectic day and we had many suprises that we were not planning on happening.
Well this week hasnt really been full of exciting prosoliteing stories or anything like that but i have learned a few very good lessons this week that i felt impressed to share....
When i had this infected bite on my knee it affected a lot of the daily activites that i did. I went to the doctor last week and they took and ultra sound and told me that i had torn my left lateral muscule in my leg and would not walk for 6 weeks.... Last monday i received a letter from dad and at the end it mentioned breifly... ¨stay humble, stay on your knees¨ it was really comical when i first read that knowing that i could not kneel and that doing so caused me a great deal of pain... later that night while writing in my jornal that thought struck me again. ¨Stay Humble, stay on your knees¨ i decieded in that moment that i would do as instructed and kneel down and offer up a sincere prayer to my father in heaven. Doing so caused me great pain and it was very uncomfortable and i was very distracted so praying suddenly became much more difficult....
in my room all by myself while my companion was in the shower i knelt in pain and began a humble prayer.... while i was praying i received what can only be a prompting from the Holy Ghost or the voice of my father in heaven.... and he told me, ïf you will kneel in humbility each and everytime you pray, i will heal you...¨ this voice literally was audible in my ears and i could hear it speak to me. I took the time to listen and told the lord out loud, i would do so, putting my faith in my lord and savior that as i was obidient to the promptings of the spirit i would be blessed....
From that moment forth no matter where i was, whether in dirt or tile or wood or grass.... i would do as i had prmoised and i would continue to kneel to pray... it caused me some troubles at times and the President was not happy about the decision that i was making, but he had not been there to understand that simple prayer that i had offered and the simple few words that my father in heaven had spoken to me....
I am happy to tell you all that this day i know that the power of prayer i more real than anything i know, whether it be for something as simple as a knee injury to a loss of a loved one. There will never be a time in which you are in better communication with our maker than when we are on our knees in humble humble prayer..... TOMORROW I WILL HAVE COMPLETED A MIRACLE RECOVERY AND RE-ENTERING THE MISSION FEILD IN 1 WEEK! The infection is totally gone and i have miraculously healed from my torn muscule and even though it is still sore i am fully able to walk and knock doors.... the lord protects his servants!!!!
One of the things that struck me most about this learning experience is the way in which we pray..... when we say ïn the name of jesus christ amen¨ it is signifying that we are asking these things of our father in heaven through our mediator jesus christ! we are saying it as thought it would be our savior saying these things.... we are saying that by closing in this manner we are telling our heavenly father that this is the will of the son! so each and every single one of our prayers must then be really the will of what christ would want for us.... I know that my father in heaven listened to my prayer and protected me when i needed him and told him that i would be obedient to his will and not my own...
Anther cool thing that happened this week was that i had a self revelation about who i wanted to be after the mission or in this life in general and i started a list called ....`who do i want to be?` and it outlines things that i want to accomplish and aspects of my life that i want and am going to work and strive twoards....
here are a few things on my list that are fun....
Here in the mission i deceided that i wanted to not only learn spanish but i am going to learn portugese and french too! because they are so simallar that they can be read and closley spoken the same.... i am reading the book of mormon in portugese and when i am done i will read it in french....i just finished again in spanish, side not...
I always regreted not learning how to play the piano because it is just a beautiful skill to have and it is SOOOO amazing when someone is really good at the piano so here in the mission i am also learning to play the piano and have now learned 5 hymn! hahahah i am going to take piano lessons after the mission or a piano class because it is never too late to find a new skill to love!
Another thing that i would like to learn is to sing really well.... my comp is a voice teacher and is teaching me how to sing in falseto which is really really high! but im getting a hang of it and needless to say we are singing everywhere we go and in everything we do so when we are just here in the office we just sing while we work and its really really cool! haha i love it.....
well there are a lot of things on this list and its not really a bucket list its more a list of things that are going to help shape who i am in this life and help me to always have goals to push myself to always be my best and do my best!!!! i am going to be so self motivated that i will through out the course of my life work at anything until i have accomplished it!
well im on all day today so if you get this and feel like writing back i will be happy to respond.
i love you all so much and miss you all!
love from over seas here in Peru!
Les amo con todo de mi corazón, espero que todo esta bien con ustedes y en esta semana dios les bendigo.

Well HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Everyone!
this week has flown by so fast it feels like just yesterday that i was writing you guys! crazy how time flys by when you are having fun and working hard! this week we had great baptisms!!! we are having so much success here and i am loving every second of it! The lord is blessing us so much and we are finding so many great people who are ready to hear this message that we share! its so amazing the miracles that we see everyday!
one cool experience that happened this week was that on tuesday i was inspired to buy emergencie candles for some reason, i didnt know why!!! haha but i did as the spirit told me and i bought them, thurday and friday we didnt have electricity at all! haha and the candles came is so handy! without them we couldnt have seen anything in our apartment past 6 pm... i was thinking about the promptings i receive from the spirit and reading my patriarichal blessing and i started to think about the story of the 10 birdemaids whom 5 of which had oil enough for emergencies and 5 of which were not prepared, we were talking about this story as a companionship and were glad to come to the conclusion that because we listened to the spirit we were those who were prepared! idk it was a cool spiritual experience.
we has service in the bannana and mango plantation or ¨chakra¨this week! it so amazing to go and work there! it so beautiful! its like all the tropical scenes right out of movies i love it!!! i took a lot of great pictures of the family we went with and my comp. we were picking and eating mangos right off the tree and they were soooooo gooooood! haha while my comp was eating one of the mangos he bit into it and broke off his entire front tooth! haha since saturday he hasnt had a front tooth and its such a crack up! we have been looking for a trustworthy dentist where we are but there arent a whole lot of options so i think this week we are going to travel to piura to get it fixed!
we had training with the president this week for 2 days and after the president came to work with us and visit our areas! my comp and i are the number 1 companionship for baptisms this transfer and the president wanted to see how we are working! we are so greatful to our father in heaven for blessing us with this success, the president told us he is really proud of the work we are doing and that there are great things instore for us soon! we are so excited to have time with the president we always learn so much from him!
well yesterday was a bad day for me and the wild dogs of zarumilla haha within a 10 minute period i was attacked 4 different times by 4 different dogs! haha i was only bit ttwice but it still kind of stunk, my comp as just laughing and laughing becasuse it was so strange that it happened so fast and so frequent! haha i dont know what i am supposed to learn from this experience but i will look hard to try and find something! ive been reading the book of mormon is spanish again! the 3rd time since the mission! im learning so much each and everytime i re read and really search the scriptures! its so great! i love it!!!!!
